The Last Airbender makes Star Wars: The Phantom Menace look like a freaking masterpiece, a beautiful artistic expression of wonder alongside Oscar-Winning performances. I kid you not. The Last Airbender (please don’t confuse it with the awesome TV show) is horrible. Hovering between 1-10% on Rotten Tomatoes, this film deserved every “boo” it received at the end of the midnight showing last night.

Thank God no one brought real tomatoes to the showing. Granted, I waited in line for 3 hours knowing what critics had said. I was warned. But I had this small, tiny little speck of hope in my geeky heart, that as a Last Airbender tv show fan, I had to give the movie a shot.
